Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Thebes Hosting is a hosting service for smart contracts and full-stack distributed applications on Thebes Protocol, operated by Mercatura Forum. For any privacy question or request, contact us through the contact page, or email info_Thebes@mercaturaforum.com.

2. Information we collect

• Your identity: sign-in is a passkey held by your own device. There is no password, and therefore no password and no password hash for us to store. What we hold is the stable identifier the network derives for you from that passkey.
• Your profile: the email address you give us, what you do, and the organisation you name, if any. This is what we use to reach you.
• Your sites: for each site you register, its name, the domain if you set one, the plan, its stage, and the identifier of its contract once it is deployed. Client groupings are labels you create yourself.
• Requests you send us: partner registrations, migration requests and support requests keep the name, email, company and message you submit.
• Technical data: a session token, a randomly generated network identifier, and your language choice, stored in your browser (localStorage) to keep you signed in and to route requests. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
• Payments: we do not currently take card payments. There is no checkout on this site, and no card number, expiry date or security code reaches us. If that changes, this policy changes with it, before it changes.

3. Where your data lives

Thebes Hosting runs on Thebes Protocol, a cryptographically distributed network. Your profile, your sites, and the requests you send us are stored in a smart contract whose state is replicated across independent network nodes. You should understand two consequences of this architecture:

• Operators of network nodes are technically able to inspect stored contract state. Treat everything you type into this service as readable by them: names, email addresses and the text of your requests are stored as you provided them. Your passkey is not among them, because it never leaves your device.
• Because the network replicates data for resilience, complete erasure from every replica and historical record cannot be guaranteed. Where deletion is requested, we will remove data from the live application state to the extent the platform permits.

4. How we use your information

• To operate your account and the sites you register with us.
• To quote a rate, agree terms, and invoice you for the sites you run.
• To respond to partner, migration and support requests.
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Sharing

We share data only with: (a) the Thebes Protocol network itself, as described in section 3; and (b) authorities, where the law requires it. We do not share it with payment providers, because we do not process payments here. All assets on our pages, including fonts, are served from our own infrastructure. Your browser makes no third-party requests.

6. Retention

Profile and site records are kept for as long as your account exists, and thereafter as needed for legal and accounting purposes. Sales inquiries are kept until handled and then archived or removed on request.

7. Security

There is no password to protect: your passkey stays on your device, and we hold no secret that could be stolen from us and used to sign in as you. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Every asset on these pages, fonts included, is served from our own infrastructure, so nothing about your visit reaches a third party.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Deletion is subject to the technical limits described in section 3 and to records we must keep by law. You may also stop using the service at any time; your data stops being used operationally once your sites are no longer running with us.

9. Children

The service is intended for professionals and businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
