Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Thebes Hosting is a hosting service for smart contracts and full-stack distributed applications on Thebes Protocol, operated by Mercatura Forum. For any privacy question or request, contact us through the Contact Sales form on our homepage, or email info_Thebes@mercaturaforum.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and a salted hash of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Payment information: when you pay for a plan we process your card details to complete the transaction, but we store only the last four digits of the card, the amount, the plan, and the payment status and dates. Full card numbers, expiry dates, and CVC codes are never stored.
• Subscription data: your plan, its start date, and its expiry date.
• Sales inquiries: if you contact sales we keep the name, email, company, and message you submit.
• Technical data: a session token and a randomly generated network identifier stored in your browser (localStorage) to keep you signed in and to route requests. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

3. Where your data lives

Thebes Hosting runs on Thebes Protocol, a cryptographically distributed network. Your account, subscription, payment records, and sales inquiries are stored in a smart contract whose state is replicated across independent network nodes. You should understand two consequences of this architecture:

• Operators of network nodes are technically able to inspect stored contract state. Sensitive values (passwords) are stored only as salted hashes, but names, email addresses, and subscription details are stored as provided.
• Because the network replicates data for resilience, complete erasure from every replica and historical record cannot be guaranteed. Where deletion is requested, we will remove data from the live application state to the extent the platform permits.

4. How we use your information

• To create and operate your account and subscriptions.
• To process payments and maintain billing records.
• To respond to sales and support inquiries.
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Sharing

We share data only with: (a) payment providers, to the extent needed to process your payment; (b) the Thebes Protocol network itself, as described in section 3; and (c) authorities, where the law requires it. All assets on our pages, including fonts, are served from our own infrastructure. Your browser makes no third-party requests.

6. Retention

Account and billing records are kept for as long as your account exists and thereafter as needed for legal and accounting purposes. Sales inquiries are kept until handled and then archived or removed on request.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed with a per-user salt before they reach our systems. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Payment card numbers are used transiently for processing and never persisted beyond the last four digits.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Deletion is subject to the technical limits described in section 3 and to records we must keep by law. You may also stop using the service at any time; your data stops being used operationally when your subscription lapses.

9. Children

The service is intended for professionals and businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
